Probate:
Requirements:
- A signed and dated application. (download)
- A copy of the will for bonds over $100,000.
- A copy of appointment by the court, or court order if available.
- An inventory of assets may be required for larger estates.
Executor(trix)
(Guarantees faithful performance of duty by a fiduciary named in a will and appointed by the court.)
Guardian Bond
(Guarantees faithful performance of duty by fiduciary appointed by the court to administer the estate of a minor or incompetent. Bonds for minors must be prepaid in full up until the minor reaches majority.)
Personal Representative Bond
(Guarantees faithful discharge of duties and accounting in accordance with law and orders of court. Bonds that are $25,000 or less will only be billed once at execution. Bonds from $25,000 to $100,000 will be billed on an annual basis. These bonds will need a formal discharge letter form the court to be closed by the surety.)
